Newbie from Dallas, Texas

Hi, My name is Roberto Lugo, i am new to real estate investing and i am currently saving to buy my first property to house hack to live in one of the bedrooms. My short term strategy is to house hack my way into as many homes as i can and hold them, and my long term plan is to use the cash flow from the short term strategy to invest into multifamily units. I am new and i have only been saving and researching and learning.i plan to be in a home within on year and that is my goal. I'm from Dallas Texas, I'm currently an accountant for a real estate development company on track for my CPA. My goal is to cash flow enough to where i can be my own boss and do real estate full time. How i came about Biggerpockets was by trying to figure out how to buy a home but also pay off debt and i came across the idea of house hacking on Reddit, and now i am here! I hope to make friends with many of you guys and hopefully meet other new and experienced investors in my area.
