Hello All,

I am new to St. Louis and new to multifamily investing. I'm just beginning to connect with some local groups in the St. Louis area and have attended a few networking events so far. Looking to make my first small (2-4 unit) multifamily purchase in the next 12 months. I've just begun analyzing deals and still working on narrowing down the neighborhoods and streets where I would ultimately make my first purchase. Would love to connect with anyone local and open to any suggestions as far as good areas to start.

My background.... I currently work for a company that sells environmental risk information about commercial real estate to environmental engineers and lenders as part of the Phase I process when acquiring commercial real estate.  I've been in this field for about 10 years. Prior to that I was involved in financial services/mortgages and am also an Army Veteran.

So far the education I've been gaining from the podcasts and this website have been invaluable and have already made a few great connections here. Looking forward to contributing and connecting through the forums and pulling the trigger on my first deal in the very near future. Thanks All!
