Hi BiggerPockets Community! 

My name is Devon McPherson and I am new to real estate investing. I am currently making my way through all of the books on the bookstore and listening to as much podcast time as I can. I am currently 24 years young doing tech sales in Silicon Valley. I would love to connect with any and all real estate investors on the BP platform. Few questions getting started: 

Do any you out there have tips on what helped you ramp your learning and experience at a more efficient rate? 

Any point in the right direction on how to go about financing the first deal? Private Money, HML, Traditional 30 year fixed?
