New Realtor® in Hampton Roads, Virginia Introduction
Good afternoon to the Biggerpockets community,
Hello yall, I am Marlon A. Thomas Jr licensed with Keller Williams of Williamsburg Virginia. As a 21 years old native of my current market place, I have been active for about a month and some change now. Within the Hampton Roads region, I would love to connect with local real estate investors throughout the area, rather you're in residential or commercial. I am also very excited to connect with more Realtors® in the Hampton Roads area as well! Rightfully so, I have an awesome team/support system surrounded by me as they are all my mentors. So far, I am very pleased with the genuine amount of opportunity that I have been provided with with this company, and within my particular office.
My long term aspirations are to become a top producer in my office in the up and coming years. So far, I am off to a strong start since I get leads every week do to the fact that I host open houses every weekend since I started. Many months ago, I met two wonderful top producing listing agents that I have built a very good relationship with, so they are playing a vital role in my supercharged start into real estate. My other aspirations include owning my own multi-serviced real estate brokerage that is a brick and mortar-cloud based hybrid. Over the years, I would like to begin growing brach offices within the state of Virginia, and then eventually in and out of the surrounding states. I want to grow a rental property portfolio while starting out in residential investments, and eventually morphing into commercial. I plan to hopefully sell the portfolio when I decide to retire from real estate. I am also very interested in fix & flips and commercial development.
I understand that all of this takes very hard work, risks, patience, time, massive amounts of dedication and cash. I have been wanting to do what I do since I was 17 years old. I have gotten this far, and I refuse to give up on anything I put my hands on in this industry. I have about 10-14 leads that I am currently working with and consistently following up with. I haven't even really started marketing myself yet as I have a plan to begin journey while starting in my neighborhood with door hangers or postcards. They will be hand delivered instead of mailed to save costs. There are two other neighborhoods within a quarter mile proximity that I plan to farm out as well while using the same technique. Funds are a bit tight right now, but I am managing to get by just fine so far!
