Newbie in Lompoc, CA

Hello everyone! My name is Tony and I've been listening to the podcasts for a while and now finally getting involved here in the forums.

I'm new to the Lompoc area... stationed at Vandenberg AFB, CA. I'm excited to be here and even more excited to start my new path towards financial freedom! I've been reading and learning as much as possible for a while and I'm ready to take some action. I'm looking to build relationships with other like-minded folks and start pursuing some opportunities in the Lompoc/Santa Maria area.

@Tony Simmons I know I'm late to the party here but I too have recently been browsing the Lompoc area for potential flip and/or small multifamily opportunities and was wondering if there was anything you've come across since your last post here in regards to the local market.  Upsides/downsides?  Market patterns?  Seems like a great place for potential value and so am just looking to hear from those with some first hand experience there.  Thanks in advance for any and all help!
