I currently work for a Fortune 50 company, and I am ready to break free from the rat race and 3% annual "merit increases".
Ive managed to save up a bit, and am seriously considering using a 401k loan to float the rest my first investment free and clear. (Less than 50k) I am looking to invest in buy and hold single family or multifamily.
I have considered investing in Salem city, but it offers a very limited exit plan, but the houses seem good for cash flow only, due to the high crime, and the total lack of local jobs. So I am looking in Bridgeton and Pennsville right now.
I am very interested in catching up with some locals to work with for mentoring and networking. I'm still putting a plan together, but ultimate plan is to replace my current job with buy and hold.
