Hi everybody, and thanks for taking the time to read my post. I've recently developed an interest in real estate investing, leaning more toward residential cashflow type properties, but can honestly say I have no idea where to start.

With an average credit score, and currently nothing saved (pay cheque to pay cheque tradesman here) for a down-payment, am I just wasting my time even thinking about this until I can produce some capital for a down-payment?

A lot of the reading and research I've done so far is based on the American market which is clearly a lot different than ours, so I'm looking for any info that may lead me in the right direction to start taking some steps.

Thanks again for reading and I hope to hear from some of you soon!
