New Member from the Rose City (Portland Oregon)

Hello all!

My name is Chris Shepard and I am a relatively young real estate investor in Oregon. My brother and I own 10 buy and hold single family homes in SW PDX. I moved to Oregon in late '09 and we started our first rehab and rental in Feb of '10 and we've just gone from there. There are some fantastic bank owned opportunities here!

Aside from real estate I am a co-owner at Uptown Market ([url]uptownmarketpdx.com), a local beer store. In fact I just got back from judging a homebrew competition at the shop a few minutes ago. If anyone wants to talk beer... let's grab a beer and chat =).

Back to REI, it's my goal to get our property management company off the ground and to start an REIT. Also in the short term we have a couple cashflowing properties that we own free and clear. So currently we are looking for some partners to help us cash out so we can move on to our next property!

I'm very excited to get involved with an awesome group of like-minded individuals! Time to prosper!
