Hi All,

Just thought I'd introduce myself. My Name is Charles Jimenez and I work in the energy industry as a Business Development Manager. I've been interested in getting into Real Estate Investing since I was a little kid playing Monopoly. :)

With a family to raise and being the only income earner in the home, I've finally got my finances stabilized and was looking in earnest where to invest my time and money. After reading a couple of books on cash flows and real estate investment, I began doing research and stumbled upon this site. I'm glad I did as there is a wealth of information from knowledgeable and charitable members that support this community.

As in college, work, and in my other hobbies, I learn from repetition, doing things in incremental stages, and most importantly learning from other people who are highly experienced and knowledgeable.

I have one real life mentor, who was my next door neighbor as a child, as she owns several SFRs here in Houston. I plan to expand my knowledge with the virtual mentors I hope to gain here, and share my experiences as well as meet up with local Houston RE Investors.

I'll let you all know when I get my first green house on the board.

Regards,
Charles
