Howdy folks,

This is my obligatory introduction. I'm from Tempe Arizona and came here to try and soak up as much information as I can before I jump into the fray and try to find somewhere to settle my family down in.

Though I'm not an investor, and likely have no hope of ever becoming one, I'm so far enjoying learning about creative financing and other things I haven't yet heard about!

Last night I learned about trade lines, hard money lenders and lease options.

It's a crazy and interesting world, real estate investment - and hopefully when creditors say I can get off of the sidelines I'll be able to have an edge on the typical home buyer.

Welcome! and don't be ruled by what a lender says you can and cannot do, as they don't take persistence, commitment, passion into account. If you want to buy real estate, you can. The question is, are you willing to do what it takes to do it? No matter where you are financially, or where you have been, it is possible to move forward and buy property.

On this forum you'll find people from all different backgrounds, financial situations, and ages. Some of the most inspiring stories are from those that have overcome obstacles to be successful, and are moving up the ladder. You're on your way by admitting there's things you don't know, and are willing to learn! Good luck, and WELCOME!
