Hello Bigger Pockets Community! My name is Rachel Covert and I've been living in NYC for 13 years. I'm just starting my REI journey and have been devouring the BP Podcasts to try to get up to speed as quickly as possible.

My Goals are:

-looking to buy a 3 family house to house hack in Brooklyn or possibly some areas of Queens. Goal is to live for free at a minimum, and preferably get some ROI, but I'm aware that with HCOL cities, it can be challenge to be cash flow positive in early years.

-Looking to make new friends and meet other people who are either just starting out or have a few deals under their belts. I'm also looking to apprentice with someone more experienced and learn while helping them out in some way, if anyone is interested, please message me! 

-This is one part of my bigger plan to FI/RE in the next 6-8 years. 

I live in Brooklyn and work in Manhattan, planning to attend an event I found on BP, so if you see me at the Finance Meets Real Estate networking event tomorrow in midtown, please say hello.
