Hello Biggerpockets Members,

Just wanted to introduce myself. Im a 21 years old LA Native and new to real estate investing. Ive read many books on real estate and listened to 100s of podcasts (BiggerPockets podcast). I feel at this moment that ive learn enough to make the jump and to start my journey to invest in real estate.

I saved up around $20000+ to invest in LA. This is probably not enough but i know there are different financing methods i could learn. Base on my knowledge I feel these are the areas Im interested in investing: Gardena, Hawthorne, South bay and Torrance (willing to hear any other locations). I feel the need to invest local until im ready to invest out-of-state. I Love the BUY and HOLD aspect for cashflow and interested in Multi family investment( 2-4 units/ 5+ unit apartments). To start off, I basically want/need to invest in a Duplex, Tri-plex, and/or Quadplex, just to get my feet wet and enter the world of real estate investing and scale from there. As u can tell, im excited to get started and I believe its better to get started now then wait for another crash happen.

Im willing to go to any meet-ups and network on partnering/mentoring on deals and also interested in meeting up on local housing reno projects for the experience on construction and estimating rehab cost, which i still need more help on. I believe my strengths are in the numbers and analyzing deals because I love math and statistics. Im willing to learn from any experienced investor who is going or already succeeded in this route. Also willing to work for free. If anyone interested we can connect and send me a message.

@Echezona Ozoemena

Welcome to BP! I started off listening to the Bigger Pockets Podcast back in 2016 and got hooked! I now have a rental and Torrance and have focused on large multifamily. I highly recommend the multifamilymasters.com meetup. If you end up going to one, let me know and I’ll see you there!
