Air Force Doctor at Eglin AFB in Fort Walton Beach, FL

Hello BP Members,

My name is Alex Schloe. I am a newly married Air Force Family Medicine Resident Physician at Eglin AFB, Florida.

My wife and I have been very interested in getting started with long-term buy and hold real estate investing and our goal is to purchase a property within the next 90 days. We are interested in small multi-family properties ideally in Fort Walton Beach, Pensacola, Milton, or Navarre however; have also considered SFH as the MFH options seem to be quite limited in these areas. I will be at Eglin AFB for the next 2 years (and potentially longer) which should give us plenty of time to purchase a few properties here and then more wherever Uncle Sam sends us next.

I would love to hear from anyone who lives in the area. Please let me know if you have any tips for finding MFH or what areas of Pensacola you would recommend us pursuing. I will be TDY to Pensacola for the next month and am looking forward to learning the area.
