Good afternoon BP community. My wife and I have been listening to every podcast for the last couple weeks. We have some money set aside to start investing and have made two offers so far. First was on a SFH around the corner from our house, the other was a pair of duplexes about an hour and a half from our house. We think we want to buy multi families and apartments. Just trying to get the first deal done.

Ultimate goal is to replace my income so I can enjoy the lifestyle my wife and kids enjoy.

I can repair or replace pretty much anything in a house. I have done everything from electrical, framing, drywall including mudding, plumbing, hardwood flooring, tile flooring and custom showers, decks, tractor work and roofing. The one job I subbed out on my garage build was the foundation blocks and that was the one thing that was messed up. I plan on self managing and maintain until we have enough units to hire a property manager. If there is anyone in the central Virginia area that needs work done on a rental, I am willing to work for knowledge.

My wife and I both enjoy quilting as well. We like to make baby quilts for mother's to be. We feel its a bit more personal than buying diapers for a baby shower.

Looking forward to joining the BP community

Mike
