Biggest Mistakes in Real Estate

Danial Wilson
Posted

Often times we make mistakes. In business and life. It’s about how we learn from those mistakes that shows us more about ourselves. Learning to speak about our failures instead of hiding them. So I will share mine. Yesterday, as I arrived home, I noticed 2 guys eye balling a house across the street from mine. Keep in mind it’s for-sale and I got my license recently. Seeing the opportunity I decided to seize it. So with butterflies in my stomach and ambition in my heart, I approached them. After a few minutes of chatting I informed them I’m an agent and I’d love to show them the home. So as I struggle with shaky nervous hands attempting to open my app to get the combo and schedule a showing. My app stops working, quickly thinking I delete it, and re-download it real quick. No break in the action. Then I forget the password to my account. Luckily the company is awesome and was able to get me my password super quickly. So I get them into the home and let the, explore chatting as they come and go. So we conclude the walkthrough, in my rush to get to meet them before they left, I forgot to grab a business card. So I quickly run to my car, and grab one. After speaking a couple more minutes we part ways. Only for me to realize I forgot to there information too. Live and learn I guess!
