Newbie to Real Estate Investing

Hello BP! My name is Kevin Williams. My wife and I are eager to get started in the real estate investment game. But unfortunately we don't have a clue on how to get started. We're totally new to this but we're willing to work hard and eager to learn. We just need someone who is willing to lead us in the right direction and walk alongside us in our journey.

But before you do there's some history about us you should know. Our credit isn't the best. Between the years of 2014-2016 times were tough financially and we fell behind on financial obligations. We were evicted from our apartment and our car was repossessed. But I'm the one who is in deeper debt. I have a tax lien against me which I am making payments. I also owe the VA because they overpaid me with the Post 9/11 GI Bill. But that's just me. My wife only has the eviction on her record.

So with that we're looking for someone to look at our situation and give us a try. Because of the situation we believe it's best that all paperwork is signed by my wife only. But that's our rookie assessment. We would love to hear from an expert. We prefer someone who is knowledgeable about the BRRRR method and duplex units but we're open to anyone willing to give us a chance. That's our story. We look forward to hearing from you!
