Newbie - DC/Richmond/Baltimore

Hey All!

My name is Ed and I've recently discovered Bigger Pockets over the last few months or so. My day job is working for a Commercial Real Estate developer in DC, however I'm interested in starting to do my own investing in single family rentals in a less expensive market (perhaps Richmond or Baltimore), hopefully making my way towards doing some value-add/BRRRR deals.

I've got 5 years of construction management experience (albeit on the commercial side, residential is a bit new to me), and am still reading/learning/listening to all the Bigger Pockets content to get my head around what it takes to make my first deal. I just wanted to say hello and perhaps connect with some other investors in the DC area or otherwise.

Thanks!

Ed
