New to BP from Fowlerville MI

Hi, I'm Austin. I live in fowlerville, MI with my wife and kids. I'm a carpenter by trade and licensed builder working for a college.

We will probably be selling our second (unintentional) live in flip within the next year. This time around instead of finding our next "dream house" we are focused on value add opportunities. 

My long term goal is to buy myself a job, with flipping. Using the profits to buy brrrr properties, at which point I can scale. 

In the mean time I would like to get my real estate license. But feel like it will be hard to find a brokerage to work under only taking on my own deals. To scale a real estate business I know eventually I cant do it all. However, starting out, the knowledge gained and ability to get in to houses right when they are on the MLS seems invaluable.
