Beginner investor wants to House Hack in Houston

I'm 26 and live in Houston, TX. I want to get involved in real estate investing and thought that house hacking would be a great place to start. 

I have been listening to the BP podcast for quite some time now but rarely engaged with the community. I hope that by changing that and learning to use the network to keep me more accountable.
