Hello! Newbie, in White Plains, NY

Hi all!

I’m 31 and I currently reside in White Plains, NY.

I’m new to real estate investing, but lately I’ve been absorbing information like a sponge. I’ve been spending a lot of time on Bigger Pockets, reading various blogs/books, watching youtube, and listening to podcasts.

I am ready to move out of the apartment I’m renting. My first goal is to invest in a duplex or triplex that I can house hack. I work in Bedford Hills, NY so I would like to invest anywhere within a 45 minute driving distance of my work (mainly looking in Danbury, CT)

Eventually I would like to build a portfolio utilizing the BRRRR method. My goal is to build a portfolio within the next 6-7 years that generates enough passive income that I can quit my job and focus solely on real estate growth!
