Newbie from Newnan, Georgia (South of Atlanta)

Hi everyone, my name is Chris and I am from Newnan, Georgia. About 30 minutes south of the Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson airport. I am new to the area, having moved here this month from Texas to be closer to my wife’s family and start a franchise with my father in law in Newnan.

My only experience with real estate has been my own personal residence in Texas. I had minor success buying a house that wasn’t taken very good care of but still in good shape, giving it a little TLC while I lived in it for 2 years then selling for a decent profit.  I am very interested in buy and hold rentals as well as vacation rentals but I am hoping to learn more about my area before I begin investing. I look forward to meeting new people and learning the ins and outs of Georgia/real estate.
