Introducing myself (Chicago)

Mark Anderson
Posted

Hi All

My name is Mark. I'm a recent member of BP. What an awesome resource! Devouring articles, podcasts, audiobooks, as fast as I can

I live in East Rogers Park (Chicago), a few blocks from the lake. My girlfriend and I are looking to get into multi-family using some of our IRA money. We're probably going to invest about $300k, relatively locally, in buy and hold. Open to doing it on our own or in a partnership with someone.

We'll probably use a property management co for the first one, and ultimately will be looking for rockstar property managers, realtors, contractors, etc.

The next 30 days is extensive studying an learning and then some serious research.

Mark
