New Prospective Investor in the Greater Los Angeles Area
Hi! My name is Franklin, despite what my profile says haha. I am pretty new to the LA area and new to investing in general. I was wondering if you guys have any advice for me to get start in investing in real estate in general. I am working full time so I don't have time to go out daily to seek out deals but I do my research right after work daily. My main goal is to eventually get into the market with a rental property.
I just have a few questions if you would bear with me!
- Is LA's market too competitive?
- Should I try to work with a partner for my first deal?
- Should I try to flip houses instead?
- Where are the deals coming in? (MLS, Redfin, Craigslist.etc.)
Any advice is appreciated!
Also if you just wanna grab lunch to talk about real estate and/or life, I would also be open. This is my 5th month in DTLA so I would love recommendations for food as well!
