New investor from Norway

Hans R.
Posted

Hi.

I am a 35 year old Norwegian, and I am looking to get into real estate investing. My experience in real estate is limited to selling my own apartment and using the proceeds to build a new house. Looking to create extra income streams from real estate, so I am mostly interested in anything that cash flows. I have investor experience from investing in stocks and options, as well as crowdfunded real estate.

Ideally I'm looking for cash flowing rentals locally here in Norway. I am also open to investing in the UK or US, but I would prefer to partner up with someone with more experience if I were to do any long distance investing.

I do have some savings, but they are for the most part tied up in stocks (many of them are REITs and real estate related). Therefore looking to use "other peoples money" as much as possible to fund the deals.

I am an engineer working as a full stack software developer (backend/frontend), so if anyone needs a hand with anything software-related, I'll do my best to help. I also have good analytical skills, and love spreadsheets and math.

Looking forward to meeting fellow investors, and interesting conversations about real estate, stocks, money and everything life has to offer.

Best regards,

Hans
