Brand New to Investing! Looking for Pointers!

Hello all! I am just getting into real estate investing! By that I mean I'm in the very first steps towards my goals. Currently I'm reading any book on the subject I can get my hands on, I listen to the bigger pockets podcast when I'm not reading and I frequent these forums quite regularly. Currently I'm reading The Book on Rental Property Investing and will be picking up the BRRRR book next. Outside of that I spend a great deal of time looking on various websites with listings on them trying to analyze deals and see if I can identify if something is a good deal or not. I plan on purchasing my first rehab and hold property by the time I turn 26 (October 2020) being as though I will be spending about 6 months backpacking South America this Fall and Winter. I have some minor student loans I need to pay off but I feel as though it would be advantageous to start investing now so I can take the first step towards my goals. If anybody has any tips which can range from literature or podcasts to advice or stories on how to begin would be much appreciated! Thank you so much!
