Introducing myself on BP!
Hi Everyone, I'm Nicole and I'm a newbie from Clearwater FL though born and raised in NY. I found out about BP some time ago while looking up topics on real estate. I've been interested in real estate for as long as I can remember but with the recent occurrence of a milestone birthday, I felt now was the time, finally, to take a serious leap into the field. Interested in learning more about buying and holding, wholesaling and rehabbing/flipping. Also need to learn more about financing/funding options. I don't have alot of money to start with BUT I do work so there's that. I'm not necessarily looking to be a passive investor, oh no! Building a real estate portfolio that generates a decent income is something that requires tons of hard work and long days and hours. Many people if not most are not willing to work hard. I am. Seeking advice/insight from professionals and seasoned investors. Ready to dive in and get started!

@Nicole Miller Langston if I was starting over I would buy a small multifamily 2-4 units with a FHA loan with 3.5% down. Live in it for 1 year and then move and buy another multifamily with a 5% down owner occupied. In 10 years you have between 20-40 units cash flowing.
