Designer turned Developer Turning Real Estate Professional in Maine!
Hi Everyone! My name is Brenda, I am currently living in the beautiful community in Maine. I am a Graduate of Interior Design, and started Developing Residential Property when the Decorating field washed up. I have Designed, Built, and sold multiple houses since starting in 2007, and have gotten bit in a big way by the Real Estate Bug.
I Love to answer questions about local properties, I pride myself in knowing whos got what, where, and for how much, in my area, and any other information that would give a seller, or a buyer their best possible chance at owning a little piece of that Apple Pie Dream we all have. Owning our own home, growing old in it, and retiring off of it!
I am currently pursing my Real Estate License for the state of Maine, but have run into some road blocks. Mostly due to not being able to find a broker in my area who will take my license once I get it. The Western Maine Mountains are flooded with Agents, and even thou I believe I have something different to offer clients, and a fresh view, I still can't find anyone who wants "more competition" in their area.
I have thought about getting a brokers license in a single licensure State and then coming back to Maine to take the Brokers test to get around the whole issue, but I feel I would be missing out on the valuable experience that a seasoned agent could share with me. I have the drive and motivation, I just need to find a company who appreciates hard working, honest individuals! I'm not sure they're out there anymore.
So that's my scoop! If you have any questions about design, staging, staging photography, or furniture placement for the best flow thru a house ask! And if you have any insight on my dilema, I would certainly be happy to hear about it!
Have a great day!
