Newbie who's eager to learn.

This is my first post yet I have been lurking for a little while now. Born and raised in Charleston South Carolina, the most beautiful place on either side of The Mississippi. My two current obsessions are coffee and real estate. I also spend my free time reading and cooking. The Army also keeps me very busy serving as an Artillery Officer. 

I stumbled on to the concept of real estate investing after talking to my girlfriend and realizing that my dreams will take a little more than what Uncle Sam pays me. I started googling passive income for active duty which lead me to The Active Duty Passive Income Podcast. They are a great group for veterans and those currently serving. However, you can't swing a dead cat in real estate without hitting BP! I proceeded to binge both BP and ADPI podcasts as some people do with Netflix. 

I am currently working on a deal that is posted on my profile page and have already placed earnest money down. I am still very new to all of this, but if I can help in any way just reach out and can will make something happen.

@Matthew Chalfant Welcome to the club brother! You would actually be surprised by the amount of us military real estate investors that are hiding around the world!

You're right, we don't make bajillions of dollars, but we make enough! I utilized creative financing on my first 12 units in order to lower the entry bar, and so far it has worked wonders for me! I'm always around to help if you have questions!
