New to Real Estate, visiting Savannah

Hi, I'm Raymond. First, THANK YOU to all who contribute to these forums and help each other come up in this world. It is because of you all that I still believe good people exist. Without your guidance we'd all be lost. 

Currently live in Boulder, Colorado. I'm brand new to Real Estate Investing. I read drank the Rich Dad, Grow Rich kool-aid and I'm thirsty for more. I've enrolled in Renatus' education and I love it; while not for everyone, still incredibly beneficial, highly recommend it. I've acquired BP's Pro membership and it is life-changing. I've been at it for almost two months now (reading, watching, learning) and have finally got the awkward first phone-calls out of the way with people who say "no". I've been practicing with the deal calculator and have no clue what I'm doing but I love it. 

I'll be visiting my hometown of Savannah, Georgia on May 1st through May 6th. If there's anyone in the C-Port area that would like to meet for a coffee or an afternoon at the beach, please reach out to me. I'm having trouble finding the right guidance outside of the internet and it would be nice to do some one-on-one. I've already been in contact with a Foreclosure guy that's willing to meet up and I've already made a connection with a Florida-based wholesaler who was extremely helpful to this newbie. I see a lot of potential in the Downtown Savannah area and would love to connect with anyone that believes there is potential as well. I grew up in Savannah so I'm very aware of how "bad" it can be but it is definitely changing. Anyone who went/goes to SCAD knows what I mean. I'm open to hear all perspectives, positive and negative.
