Hello, Bigger Pockets community! I'm excited to sign up as a member.

Currently I'm a teacher in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada just North of Calgary. Looking to get started in real estate this year. My dad has been flipping and renting properties in his semi-retirement for the past 10 years. I'm excited for my wife and I to buy our first single family home and to paint and do finishes and then rent it out in a year. My plan is to build enough wealth in 10 years to be able to retire. Eventually, I want to quit my job and do flipping, BRRRR, and buy and hold strategies to gain capital AND to invest in long term multi-family properties. Looking forward to learning a lot on Bigger Pockets.

Sincerely,

Richard M.
