Newbie from Lisle, Illinois (wholesale, househack, flip)

Hello,

My name is Chris, I am a music teacher from Lisle, IL. I am a newb when it comes to real estate investing. I am currently most interested in wholesaling and have decided that I need to start taking steps towards making deals. Also, My wife and I are currently looking at purchasing our first home; we're hoping to househack a duplex or fix n' flip a SFH.

Any helpful information on where to start or leads on local networking opportunities sent my way would be much appreciated.
