New to BP - DTLA area (design/hospiality/REI)

Hello BP crew! I'm Jolyn and new to BP. I currently live in DTLA and would love to meet more people in my neck of the woods. I have yet to do my first RE investing, so everything is still very foreign to me no matter how many podcast episodes I've listened to. My background is in hospitality management/tourism and now finishing up the interior architecture program at UCLA extension (this summer!). I'd love to bring my love for hospitality and design into my future RE investments and meet more people who have those same interests! 

I'm looking to do my first investment out of state (Vegas area or Atlanta) because LA is so expensive and would love to chat with anyone who'd like to share their expertise and/or experience.
