Complete Newbie from the greater Roanoke Va area

Dakota Disher
Posted

Hello, I'm Dakota Disher, a 28 year old from the Roanoke Virginia area. I am completely new to the entire real estate world, but looking to learn lots here. My goal is to do buy and hold multifamily homes. I still have lots to read up on here and many podcasts to listen to before I'm ready to start getting my feet wet. As many people before me, I listened to Rich Dad Poor Dad while driving and loved the concept. I've held several different jobs in my lifetime from child care, factory work, mechanic, to now exterminator and learned that I don't want to work for someone the rest of my life. I would love to have rental income as my primary source.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post!! Any words of encouragement or advice is greatly welcome!
