Hello Bigger Pockets
Hello Bigger Pockets!
This post is significantly overdue.
My name is Matt and I currently live in Conshohocken, Pa.
I am avid about Real estate investing. I consider myself a nerd and am interested in all aspects of Real Estate. I have listened to every bigger pockets podcast atleast once, and have listened to some 10 times or more. I am in the process of getting my RE License. I have passed the prereq courses and am about two weeks out from the state exam.
I have purchased and wholesaled three properties through tax-sales and am now planning to expand into fix and flips, and eventually parlay and partition the profits into a separate business to invest in rentals. My end RE goal is to own 1 or more 100+ Unit apartment complexes and to "semi-retire". I plan to continue remaining active in the community and focus on being able to pursue the tasks that I enjoy most and to give back both time-wise and financially. I have been working on my RE business plan for almost 7 years now and am happy to say I am finally ready to move from analysis paralysis to taking constructive action.
I have a finance background and have partnered with my current boss who has 30 years of construction experience to pursue fix & flip & Buy&Hold/BRRRR Rental opportunities. We are currently pursuing fix and flips in the following areas:
Collegeville, Audubon, Jeffersonville, Spring City, Norristown and other surrounding areas.
We just got our first investor two weeks ago who has agreed to contribute $70k to an investment partnership (LLC) and I am planning to reach out to other contacts after we have finished our first few flips and can demonstrate a track record. We put our first offer on a property last week!
Special shout out and Thank you to Josh Dorkin (for Bigger Pockets, you are the man!), Brandon Turner (for your great books and podcasting skills), David Greene (for your great podcasting and awesome youtube channel), Matt Faircloth (for your amazing book on raising private capital and youtube videos), and to all the Bigger Pockets Forums posters, I have been a long-time lurker and reader of the forum lol.
Thank you,
Matt Wrigley
