Newbie from Newark, NJ

Hello BP Community!

     My name is Felix and I'm an upcoming investor that is interested in the real estate market! I was born and raised in NYC but have recently moved to Newark NJ a year ago. I'm working full time as an Assistant Store Manager in retail and looking to earn a promotion within this year. 

        It was not until I read Robert T. Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad that made me want to pursue investing in real estate (build assets, not liabilities!). After that book I picked up the book on rental property investing by Brandon Turner, which I am currently reading and lead me to this awesome website/community. 

      My plan is to gain as much knowledge on real estate investing by reading books, going to events, and meeting great people involved in real estate. My goal is to generate cashflow through buying and holding single and multi family houses. I want to house hack my first property and buy a multi family house.

     Looking forward to being part of this forum!
