Beginning in real estate

Hello my name is Damien McManus. I'm looking to begin my journey as a real estate investor. I've been educating myself in the world of REI. I'm 18 years old have 0 lines of credit. Though I make well over average salary for my age group. I would greatly appreciate any tips from someone with more Real Estate knowledge than myself. I'd like to invest in my first home in the next 8 months. I'd like to have a start on my goals of REI before I go to boot camp.
