Michael Ashley
Posted

Hi, my name is Michael new to posting on BP have a question for Investors That invest in Texas. I Found a duplex property here in Houston, Texas if I purchase the duplex through seller finance (both units currently vacant)/new construction.. can i then sell each unit on seller financing or lease option each unit out? Twin units both are 3/2.5bths 1600 SqFt

Also I would like to connect with investors that are doing Lease Options here in Texas, and a few good creative investor friendly Real Estate Attorneys.

Replied

Not illegal, just close to impossible to comply 100% with the statutory requirements.

Owner financing, if you must, but already having purchased with owner financing, wrapping a wrap is pretty sticky if ANYTHING goes awry.  Try refinancing the underlying, then selling on a wrap.
