Hello everyone, I've been looking around and this site and it looks like a great place to learn some things before I make some big investments.

A little about myself - I'm currently unemployed but I've got a reasonable sum of cash saved up. I've also got a friend who's been trying to get me into real estate for a while now. He's going to walk me through my first purchase. I'm still in the learning phase but I'm looking into eventually purchasing some multi family housing.
