I'm Raul and I was born and raised in San Francisco, the city by the bay. I've worked in IT for 13+ years and spent my off time as a no budget film maker. I recently had a paradigm shift in my thought process after listening to Robert Kiyosaki's Cashflow Quadrant and decided it was time to pursue my financial freedom.

So I started researching real estate, reading books, listening to audio books, and finally took a Rich Dad class on foreclosures. That inspired me to study wholesaling and lease options and that led me here.

My goals:

30 Day Plan - Find a mentor and take a 'ride along' on a wholesale deal.

90 Day Plan - Close 1 wholesale deal with a profit of $3-5k.

1 Year Plan - Take some advanced training courses with Rich Dad and close at least 1 deal per month.

2 Year Plan - Start a property management company, quit my job, buy an apartment building, and close 2-3 deals a month.

3 Year Plan - Buy multiple apartment buildings and teach my friends and family the trade to help them become financially free as well.

Ambitious? Realistic? I don't know, but I imagine I'll find out as I travel this new road. It's both scary and exciting.

I'm hoping to meet mentors, connections, industry contacts, like minds, and new friends in the SF Bay Area, and perhaps join an investing club.

Whew, that was a mouthful. Is anyone still reading or have I lost you? If you are, I apologize for being long winded and hope we might become colleagues here.

And of course I wish you a profitable week ahead!
