Grand Rapids Real Estate Newbie

Good afternoon BiggerPockets forum users! 

My introduction:

My name is Courtney Warner and I. Currently live in Grand Rapids, MI. I’m a michigan native, I was born and raised in Saginaw, MI.

I am new to bigger pockets and the podcast. 

I am very interested in getting involved with real estate in my area. My specific interests are flipping and establishing long term rental properties. 

My focus, since I know almost nothing, is to acquire my real estate license. My pre-licensing class will start February 18th. At this time I’m trying to focus on getting to know the terminology, descriptions and roles of jobs that are involved in real estate. 

My objective is to establish a group of colleagues and partners that I can work with and gain knowledge from. I will put in the necessarily effort to move forward, I desire my relationships with others to be mutually beneficial and I will work daily towards these goals. 

I just want to take this time to introduce myself and bring in my perspective. 

I have several weeks before my first day of pre-licensing class, I would appreciate any feedback and tips on how I should be prepping :)
