Hello everyone, my name is Eric Lopez and I'm new, very new, to real estate. Well, that's only half the truth. Like many of you, I have a long history of researching and wanting to jump into real estate that goes all the way back to Carleton Sheets but I have, only now, begun to truly embark on my REI journey. So, what took me so long? Well, most times it's someone else telling me I could not, would not, should not go to a four-year college and grad school, apply to a Fulbright grant, work at the White House, start my own business, etc. etc. Every time I was able to prove them wrong, but with real estate, there was only one naysayer, me. After years of listening to Bigger Pockets, reading "how to" guides and daydreaming of what could be, I've finally begun to take the leap. I just came back from my first home visit and am working with an agent on making an offer on what will be our first house hack. Most importantly, I have joined the Bigger Pockets community and have become a pro member. Thank you all for welcoming me! I look forward to working and sharing with you all.
