Newbie:Metro Atlanta:Ready to start moving in the right direction

Hey Guys!

As my title states I'm very new to real estate investing.  Been looking in to it for years, but have never pursued it like I knew I should.  Today I watched a video in here today called "How to get started in real estate investing for the struggling newbie" and one of the suggestions was to post in here.  I live in the metro Atlanta area and my goals are to start flipping cheaper houses and then to grow a rental portfolio over time.

I'm open to any tips any one has or any advise in general.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
