Hi everyone my name is Stefan,i'm from Montenegro in Europe and  i live in Los Angeles for the last 4 years... i'm in trucking business which is great but i was always interested in doing real estate so i feel like this could be a year to buy my first deal outside of California.I'm here to learn as much as i can from people who already doing the work...multi family is something that i'm very interested in and i would apreciate any advice on what would be the best first step and what are the best markets to do multi family investing.Thank you in advance !!!

Welcome to BP @Stefan Arapovic - multifamily is a great way to start.

Education is an important first step. Podcasts, books, forums, online research, and practicing the math are key. Once you get an idea of what a good deal looks like to you (based on your goals) then start looking at markets. I’m looking at MF properties here in KY where I currently live plus two or three markets in Texas but there are plenty of others.
