Madison WI - Beginning Investor

Hello everybody!

My name is John, and I live in Madison WI. I am an aspiring Real Estate investor, and I wanted to start by introducing myself on this site. I have been around Real Estate my entire life. My mother has been a Real Estate agent most of my life, and both my parents have invested in their own rental properties. I was also doing some property management work for a few months while living in Chicago. 

Over the past few years I have been mostly working on becoming debt free, so that most of my money will then be able to be used towards growing my portfolio. I should be out of debt within a few months, and would like to purchase my first property within the year. 

I look forward to beginning my journey, and learning from all that have succeeded before me.
