Starting My REI Career from Brooklyn/NYC

Sheronda Jarrett
Posted

Hello BiggerPockets Community,

Hope everyone is well. My name is Sheronda, and I am very excited to start my real estate investment career  with the community of BiggerPockets. I am excited about real estate investing because I want to gain a level of financial freedom that honestly before this year I wasn't sure was possible. I also want to help my community by giving back in any way that I can as much as possible.

A little about me: I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, went away for high school to a great school called Lawrenceville and then to college at Georgetown University but my heart is in NYC. I have worked for JPMC and am currently a teacher and because I am frugal have saved some money over the years. I am interested in buy and holds (rentals), BRRRR and fix and flips in NYC or the tri-state area.

I would love to network with as many people as I can so I can learn more and "pull the trigger (water guns)", which is my motto for 2019 because I don't want to be too scared to start something that could really enhance my life!

Thank you for reading and I can't wait to network with you amazing people!

Sheronda
