Hello and Happy Holidays!

Hi Everyone, I am brand new to REI. I just watched the webinar for newbies and I can relate to the description of the mentality that the typical beginning investor has. It is overwhelming and nerve-wracking at times. Thoughts like, "There are already a lot of people doing this" and "Competition for good deals is going to be fierce" make getting started more difficult than necessary. So I'm choosing to focus on more positive thoughts such as the idea that there are seasoned investors that are interested in helping beginners get off the ground and that eventually I will be in a position to do the same. Furthermore, by learning how to invest long-distance, it would seem that there are enough opportunities to go around.

Best wishes to all for a great 2019!
