New Member Intro, Ready For The REI Journey
Hello BP, after weeks of watching and listening to podcasts, I'm taking my first step into REI world. I'm part of the large group of people who like to observe and analyze everything before making a decision, that can be either blessing or a curse. My goal is to use it to my advantage and move forward in building a great team among all who want or are taking ownership of their futures.
I currently work 4 jobs; in advertising for a large retailer here in Texas, I run my own sole prop cleaning company for commercial and apartments, a small time side gig as a janitor ( I can relate to Brandon with the whole toilet situation), and on my spare time I do personal training. Honestly, I'm a bit burned out. I will be posting my progress as go through this journey. In the mean time, I'm open in meeting or meeting up anyone who has just started this journey or anyone that can align to a common goal.

Hi @Adrian Gonzalez. Welcome to BP and glad to hear you are moving forward. I've been working on my REI business for about 4 years now. But I also have a very demanding W2 (left the house 12hr ago and still haven't left the office). Last night after a long day of work and trying to buy a couple Christmas gifts for the kids (I am so behind) I got emailing/texting my property manager about an idea to leverage some staging I did at my apartments into a full on furnished corporate rental option....simultaneously I was emailing back and forth with my contractor about our rehab project....while simultaneously updating my website, tracking invoices, preparing financials for my CPA....and eventually at 12:30am I threw in the towel on getting up at 5am to get my run in (also training for my 23rd marathon).
The point of all this is to relate on the point of "hustle makes the difference". No doubt the 4 jobs is stressful and would be a good excuse for you to "put REI on hold". But you sound like someone who is willing to juggle some things to make it happen. I commend you for that and please let me know if I can help in any way.
