Been a member for about a month now. Starting out this site is great. A year ago I guess you could say I got started in real estate with out planning it. I became a landlord overnight after inheriting a home in Lake Havasu, AZ. Even having good tenants I never realized the work it required to just keep the house going. I was living in an apartment at the time, so I had never experienced the joys of being a home owner by myself and got to learn first by being a landlord. Since finding this site the possibility of actually making money with real estate investing has become more real. I had always thought it was out of my reach. I have 3 BP books trying to go through and catch up on the podcasts as much as I can. The goal in 2019 is to buy another home and start having cash flow and work towards gaining more properties.
