I need help to start

Dear all,

I took a look around to get some hints about what I want but...

Here is the deal. I am not used to trading, as my job is more into physics. Howerver I am curious and would like to give a try. But not alone.

So my first question is : is it a good idea to hire an advisor ?

Second. I found the list of the advisors registered to my government. The 2018 list is set as dangerous when I try to access it : http://www.scb.gov.bs/documents/Firms%20%20as%20at%2030%20September%202018.pdf

Does it mean this is unreliable ? Should I use another one ? (an older like the 2017, not blocked : http://www.scb.gov.bs/documents/SIA%20Registrants%20as%20at%2030%20September%202017%20for%20website.pdf)
