New to the game in Key West

Hello all,

My name is Xavier and I am currently stationed in Key West. I am active duty Army and am excited to learn more on real estate. 

I've had a passion to invest in real estate for a long time. I jumped the gun and invested before even reading or educating myself. Luckily I don't believe that I made a bad deal, but it wasn't a great deal. I own one house in Big Pine Key, FL and am excited to invest in more. I used my VA loan and am planning to move out and rent it in the next few months.

If anyone is an investor in the lower keys I would love to learn more. I would love to take some time to help with renovations or whatever just to gain some wisdom. 

I also have started reading non stop on investing. It's what lead me to this website. 

If anyone has experience in investing out of state or some of the hurdles of investing while in the military service.
